After watching another awful performance by his offense on Thursday night against the Cardinals, today 49’ers coach Chip Kelly made it official – a change has been made at quarterback.
Chip Kelly says Colin Kaepernick is the 49ers starting QB Week 6.

The 28-year-old Kaepernick has made a lot more headlines off the field than on the field this season. Last season he threw for 1615 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions.
Blaine Gabbert, who Kaepernick is replacing, has thrown for 890 yards this season, with five touchdowns and six interceptions. He’s started all five games for the Niners, who are 1-4 and set to face the 3-2 Bills on the road Sunday.
