49ers Sign Former Packer LB Ricky Elmore To Practice Squad

The timing of the 49ers signing LB Ricky Elmore to their practice squad, two days after they had signed another linebacker, is curious. Elmore was drafted by the Packers but was cut after training camp. Perhaps the coaches are hoping he can divulge some secrets ahead of a possible playoff meeting at Green Bay?
