Source: 49ers try out a trio of RB’s

Aaron Wilson of Profootballscout.com reports along with working out former Panthers running back Tyrell Sutton, the 49ers also eyed former Ravens running back Jalen Parmele and ex-Packers running back Dimitri Nance, according to a league source.

However, none were inked immediately.

Parmele was axed during the Ravens’ final roster cutdown on Sept. 3 as they opted to retain seventh-round rookie running back Anthony Allen instead of him.

Parmele is prominently known for his receiving skills out of the backfield and his special-teams work as a kick returner.

Nance held the rock for 95 yards on 36 rushes last season for the Packers and was cut on Sept. 3.
