Posted in Fox Sports just released their 2010 list of the top 100 players in the NFL and three 49ers made the list.
Patrick Willis, the Niners defensive stalwart, is the highest ranked of the group at number 12. Willis is the second ranked linebacker on the list behind the Cowboys’ DeMarcus Ware (No. 9) and ahead of the Ravens’ Ray Lewis (No. 20).
Running back Frank Gore came in at number 67 which makes him the seventh ranked tailback. Vernon Davis (No. 81) also made the list as the fourth ranked tight end.
A couple of notable omissions from San Francisco’s roster include wide receivers Michael Crabtree and Ted Ginn, Jr., as well as quarterback Alex Smith.
