With the 28th pick in the 1994 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected William Floyd, fullback, out of Florida State University. Draft historians will remember Floyd as the last fullback to be selected in the first round since. Floyd spent most of his 7-year NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers; spending his last three with the Carolina Panthers. As a rookie, en route to winning Super Bowl XXIX, he became the first and only rookie to score three touchdowns in a playoff game. In his time in the NFL, Floyd totaled 1,141 rushing yards, 1,427 receiving yards, and 25 touchdowns altogether.
