With the 10th pick in the 1975 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Jimmy Webb, a defensive lineman out of Mississippi State University. The 49ers had also gone the same route a year earlier with the same pick. Webb however spent more time with the 49ers, playing with them for six seasons before moving down to San Diego for his last season in 1981. Webb played mostly on the left side and recovered six fumbles during his time with the team. Since tackles were not officially and consistently recorded during his playing days, there are not enough means for me to measure his impact on the team.
