With the 15th selection of the 1968 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Forrest Blue, an offensive lineman from Auburn University. Blue would play center for the 49ers and the Baltimore Colts in 11 seasons. Blue, was not a starter until his second season. He started every game for the 49ers between 1969 and 1974. He would make four straight Pro-Bowl teams between 1971 and 1974, adding the distinction of being a First-Team All-Pro in 1971 and 1972. Blue played his last 4 seasons with the Baltimore Colts. He would become a real estate developer and general contractor after his playing days.
