Kurt Schottenheimer Interviews for Special teams Job

The San Jose Mercury News reports that the team spoke to Kurt Schottenheimer on Friday about the Special Teams job:

Kurt Schottenheimer on Friday became the third coach to interview for the 49ers’ vacant special teams position. The younger brother of longtime NFL head coach Marty Schottenheimer, Kurt worked most recently as the Green Bay Packers secondary coach from 2006-08. He has also been a defensive coordinator at several stops, including Kansas City, Washington and Detroit.
