Posted in Running back Frank Gore was named the NFC offensive player of the week for the fourth time in his career after rushing for 167 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ 24-9 victory over the Arizona Cardinals last night. “It was good to see,” coach Mike Singletary said. “Jimmy Raye and I have been talking about it, making sure we that combination of getting him the ball and making sure we have the right personnel to do that. And I thought Jimmy did a nice job of accomplishing that.”
