Niners Not Ruling Out the Thought of Bringing Back T.O.?

What would you think about the Niners making a run at former WR Terrell Owens, who is out on the street after being released from the Cowboys on Thursday?

It seems like the team isn’t ruling it out, as general manager Scot McCloughan gave a rather vague answer about Owens by explaining that the 49ers evaluate every free agent on the market.

Brian Murphy, co-host of the “Murph & Mac” morning show, pressed the issue by saying, “So official statement from the 49ers: ‘Not closing the door?'” “Correct,” McCloughan said.

Owens had some great years in San Fran, but one has to wonder if he’d be willing to come back to the Bay, and also if the 49’ers could really control him at this point in his career and if he’s worth the hassle.
