Posted in Today’s edition of The Press Democrat is reporting that the Niners have extended the deal of defensive coordinator Greg Manusky. Here is the report from today’s edition:
The 49ers signed defensive coordinator Greg Manusky to a contract extension through the 2010 season, dispelling rumors that head coach Mike Singletary had already fired him. Manusky is now unable to leave the 49ers for any NFL position — other than a head-coaching job — unless the 49ers grant him permission to escape or he is fired.
