Mike Martz’s mouth has landed him a pretty hefty fine. ESPN is reporting that Martz was fined $20,000 for criticizing officials following the Niners loss to the Cards two weeks ago. Martz claimed that the refs “cost us the game” after they got a bad spot in the final moments of the 29-24 [...]
The Niners today placed OT Jonas Jennings on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. The 8-year vet started the first two games of 2008, but then got hurt during the September 14th win over the Seahawks. The team has promoted tackle Jason Bender to the 53-man roster for Jennings.
