Posted in Our own Matt Loede wrote a column Thursday on this page that the 49ers and Isaac Bruce were a natural fit.
On Friday, the “natural fit” became a reality as the 49ers signed the former St. Louis Rams standout to a two-year, $6 million deal.
Bruce, who has played all 197 of his career games over 14 seasons for the Rams, has 942 career receptions for 14,109 yards and 84 touchdowns.
He will be reunited with former Rams offensive coordinator and head coach Mike Martz, who currently fills the offensive coordinator post with the 49ers.
