Posted in Evidently quarterback Shaun Hill played well enough to where the 49′ers want him back. The Sacramento Bee is reporting that Hill, who could walk away as a free agent, has gotten a contract offer from the Niners. Terms of what the deal lays out as is not known. The report says that Hill will look over the deal over the weekend with his agent, and then report back to the team. Hill should come back to the Niners, as he played well enough in the final few games to where he may end up having a legit shot to be the teams starting QB next season. With Alex Smith hurt and with his contract issues as a #1 pick, Hill will be the fan favorite come training camp.
