Guard Larry Allen on the Verge of Walking Away

Has Niners guard Larry Allen seen his last days on the playing field?  According to NFL Network’s Adam Schefter, Allen is expected to announce his retirement.  The 14-year vet is likely a sure-fire Hall of Famer, with 11-time Pro Bowls under his belt.  Allen could sign a ceremonial contract with the Cowboys so he can retire a Cowboy, where he played through the 2005 season.
