The San Francisco 49ers will get some rest this weekend before suiting up for a Monday Night Football matchup in Seattle against the Seahawks. The 49ers will be looking to snap a six-game losing streak after falling to the New Orleans Saints, 31-10, last Sunday at Monster Park. After missing last week’s game in Atlanta, both running back Frank Gore and cornerback Walt Harris were at yesterday’s two-hour practice session. Gore missed last week’s game with an ankle injury while Harris was out with an injured knee. The Niners will come into Monday’s contest 2-and-6 on the season while the Seahawks are leading the NFC West at 4-and-4. Seattle won the first meeting this season, 13-3, on September 30th in San Francisco. Kickoff from Qwest Field is set for 5:30 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
