The 9’ers signed defensive end/linebacker Roderick Green yesterday. According to the team’s web-site, the six-foot-two, 274-pound Green was with the 49ers during training camp but was waived prior to the start of the regular season. He had been claimed off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens last September and played in nine games, finishing with four-and-a-half sacks. The Central Missouri State product was taken by the Ravens in the fifth-round of the 2004 draft. Green’s signing came one day after the team placed tackle Jonas Jennings on injured reserve with an ankle injury. The 49ers also signed guard Sean Estrada to the practice squad. The six-foot-four, 305-pound Estrada was in training camp this summer as a rookie free-agent out of the University of Pennsylvania.
