LT Jennings Season Over with Ankle Injury

Left tackle Jonas Jennings is out for the rest of the season as the team says he will undergo ankle surgery and will be placed on IR.  He has played in just five games this season and the 29-year-old is out for the second time since he signed his huge deal back in 2005, 7 years for $36 million.  Jennings has played in just 21 of 40 games since arriving in San Francisco.  Adam Snyder takes over as the starting left tackle. Right tackle Joe Staley, the 28th overall pick, is capable of switching sides but would stay where he is for the short term.
