Posted in The 49′ers begin their 2007 season tonight with an NFC West matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The 49ers look to make a return to the playoffs after last year’s surprising 7-and-9 campaign. Kickoff from Monster Park is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN. This is the first “Monday Night Football” contest in San Francisco since November 17th, 2003, when the 49ers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 30-14.
